You do not need to be on every network

Eleven networks exist. Being present on all of them is how one person produces eleven mediocre feeds instead of two good ones.

A scheduler makes posting everywhere possible, which is not the same as making it wise. Cross-posting is cheap; being present is not. Presence means replying, watching what lands, and posting things that suit the place.

How to choose, in one question

Where does the person you want already spend their attention, and in what form? Not where is the growth, not where is everyone — where are they, and do they want pictures, video, or words.

Two networks done properly beat six done automatically.

A reasonable shape

  • One network where you actually show up — post, reply, watch
  • One or two where the same work is cross-posted with a light edit
  • Nothing else, until the first one is working

The cost nobody counts

An abandoned account is worse than no account. Somebody finds it, sees the last post was eleven months ago, and quietly concludes the whole thing is dormant. If you are not going to keep it, take it down or say so in the bio.

Cross-posting earns its place when the extra network costs you a few seconds. It stops earning it the moment it costs you attention the main one needed.

Stop watching the clock. Start drifting.
